[BUG] Avast Cleanup Consuming More RAM in each junk scan!
« on: December 14, 2021, 02:25:32 PM »
This issue started to occur using the latest version of Avast Cleanup. Each Junk Scan Avast Cleanup Consumes more and more RAM and never reducing as can be seen in the video.

This image was taken 3 minutes after the Avast Cleanup software has been closed and still consuming the same amount of RAM.
Each junk scan that you make will just increase it more and more without reducing it after the scan finished or after closing the Avast Cleanup program.

I have the same problem. Did you find a way to fix that?

I would also like you to add an option of deleting widows old folder when an upgrade occurs. Elvis.

Hello,

I apologize for a longer "radio silence" however we have it fixed already and this update will go out most likely at the beginning of next week.
I will keep you updated here on the forum. If you check the main product board https://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=63.0 regularly you should see the new version on top when released.

Thank you and have a nice day.
