yah i ready norton start this... I never liked norton to begin with, but Avast does same thing I will drop Avast. I already have issue with how many process (10 at last count) Avast has running these days, and fact it took them 4+ years re implement the exclusions and inclusion  for the shield, with there new ui this isnt new anymore, at lest those exclusion for shield are back and working again.

Repeat if Avast does samething norton did I will remove avast and stop recommending or install it on all machines i manage

Personally I can't stand all of this speculation, it achieves nothing.

Over the years many things have changed but for the most part these components are configurable, e.g. you can elect not to install them or can disable them.
So in the meantime there is little point in speculating or worrying, so far we have had responses that isn't current plans.

Should it ever happen (not saying it will) then is the time to act and vote with your feet.
