Erases, Pop and Smtp server addresses
« on: May 08, 2003, 01:00:45 AM »
Ever since I tried AVG antivirus (I uninstalled it because the email scan didn't seem to work as well as avast) The pop3 and smtp server addresses change to 127.0.0.1 (The IP of the computer) Could someone please tell me how to fix this? It changes back to 127.0.0.1 everyso often.
Thanks for any help.

avast! changes SMTP and POP servers to 127.0.0.1 to be able to scan your mail. If you check "Automatically protect all account that I create in the future" when configuring mail protection, avast! changes it again and again. Run Mail Protection Wizard (from menu Start -> Programs -> avast! antivirus) if you want to reconfigure it.
