Let's hope that it can be uninstalled. I want nothing to do with it. Any signs of it being rolled out?

Hi,

Can you expand on the issue you are facing? It is not clear.

Avast stood against crypo mining, but has that now all changed since the aquisition?
I sincerely hope not.

Hi,

No crypto miner is included in any of our products and we currently have no plans to change this.

Thank you r@vast.  I am pleased to read your assurances.  I have no doubt that the culture in Avast would resist crypto mining features.  I don't think that my geriatric hardware would enjoy crypto mining number crunching and neither would I.  I would do all in my power to suppress such activity.

Wait, can anyone explain to me what the actual issue discussed on this thread is? I just cannot understand what is going on. And by the way, is it true that crypto miner is included in all the products?! To be honest, that surprised me because I didn't know that, and I cannot figure out why you do it like that. I'm not so experienced with crypto, so I need to get crypto explained  because I want to start making more and more money using the crypto market as a manipulation object as I have some great ideas, but before that, I need to learn more about it.
