I know, heard it all about how I should use wi-fi for my wireless connection but I went out and bought bluetooth dongles. Main reason for this was cost but also as it limits the range at which people can try and hack my connection, so in theory they would need to be sitting on my doorstep to hack my PC.
Anyway got 2 PC's and both have dangles. had no problems setting up dongles and bluetooth on main PC. On 2nd PC it wouldn't recognise dongle as being connected, which has been resolved as was something to done with the type of usb connections PC has. 2nd PC now detects dongle but shows network connection in taskbar as having a cable unplugged. I can detect both systems via searching for devices and can indeed share files between the 2, what I want to do and the reason for getting them was to share internet connection. When I attempt to connect the network connection I get a message saying can not network 2 devices that are both set as NAP? Can I overcome this and allow sharing of internet connection which will enable me to monitor what my kid's do online or will I have to accept defeat and buy wi-fi?
