Avast UI improvement suggestion: Virus Detection
« on: January 17, 2022, 08:35:08 AM »
As of now, when Avast detects a virus it pops up with this 'window':

I would like Avast to inform me using notifications at the bottom right corner like most other AVs.
This causes user interruption.

We had that and they changed it to this nonsense. I frankly have no clue why because the old way was so much better. I think it's just easier to plop a regular popup in the middle of the screen than having one that needs to align perfectly to the bottom right corner and be properly above taskbar. Web Shield is especially annoying if it's a repeating detection and it just keeps throwing them in front of you so you can't continue doing anything and you need to dismiss this junk. I agree, it's annoying.
