How to stop Avast Free from testing/trying to login to my NAS via SSH and FTP?

Every time smart scan runs on any of my PCs with Avast Free installed, it detects my NAS and tries to login via SSH and FTP.

How can I turn this off?

It is clogging up my NAS connection attempt logs and generating multiple intrusion alarms on the NAS.
