I am using the free version of Avast 4.1.357 Home. I accidentally disabled "Disable VRDB generation". I cannot get it turned back on. Does anyone know how to get this done? Or, has anyone done this with this version of Avast and if so how was this feature restored. Any help will be appreciated. ;)
Thanks

My VRDB can be both disabled and enabled at Windows XP  :-\

If you boot the problem persists?
What are your settings at section VRDB of avast4.ini file (into 'Data' folder of avast)?

Okay, I certaintly will remember this problem and the way to correct it. I also went to the link you gave me to view and read up on the information there. I will be glad to try and help others even though I am not very technical in nature, ;D. Once again thanks so much and I will talk with you later.
