System Tray Icon Not Working

So avast! displays in the system tray, but doesn't launch when double clicked.  If I load avast! from the desktop shortcut the system tray icon then works from that moment onwards, but not until the program is initially launched.  Any help?

It shouldn't need to be double clicked, I just left click it once and it opens.

What OS version ans avast program and version number are you using  ?

Min is win10 21H2 (OS Build 19044 1466) latest patch Tuesday update and Avast Free 21.11.2500 (build 21.11.6809.528).

There have been some issues related to the tray icon, but this hasn't been mentioned.  So I don't know if this is related to those issues (not being able to completely hide the tray icon).

This happens at startup. Same thing, you can wait a few seconds (about a minute) or you can launch the UI of Avast manually to start the system tray host.

To confirm it is this, hover over the system tray and it should NOT say Avast Antivirus Your system is secured., it should only say Avast Antivirus when you hover it. Known issue here!
