Avast One Smart Scan does not run!

Even after severaal tries and re starting my computer not only Smart Scan would not start(just the circle keeps going)but when I click on it it show NEVER,which is not true,I run it for the longest time every single Friday!
Something is really wrong.Yet it shows I am protected.
I have re-done both the deffinitions(that were up to date anyway)SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.PLS help.Thanks!!!!

Select the Avast One product that you are using, presumably Avast One for Windows and see if there is a topic related to your issue, if not post in the Avast One for Windows sub-forum
