« on: February 18, 2022, 01:51:41 AM »
Hi, I posted my issue on the Microsoft Questions website and they identified the issue from Avast.
So I wanted to tell you this, maybe someone will solve the problem with the program, because I have been using it for a long time and it is one of my favorite programs.

Hi!
222 days later and it's still an issue!
Any chance to fix this?
Thanks!

In the last month I experienced 14 (fourteen) occurrences of BSOD with Win 11. CAUSE: aswArPot.sys
It happened with Avast free and Opera: just upon exiting Opera.
I tried with other free antivirus and BSOD was not experienced: in a time span of a week only, though.
I uninstalled WIN11 and reinstalled Avast free: after few days the BSOD happen again with the same CAUSE as above.
Grateful for support: I would like to keep both Avast free and Opera.

I don't use Opera so have never experienced this problem.
I've reported this to Avast. Let's see if that helps.

FYI. Win10 (not 11) Avast free and Opera. No issues.
Have you tried re-installing Opera?
