I don't think so... everytime I talked to the XPLabs guys, it looked like it was their own technology (developed in-house).

was discussion on some security forum about that they 'reused' the database of callingID LA to 'mark' threat URLs ...
not sure about exploit detection self ...

anyway as long as Avast! got both ... i don't care right  ??? ;D

yep..ure right bob..someone should have a conversation with them..to tell them y they should switch to avast  ;D seriously now avg isnt bad..his AV f.e. its quite gd and grisoft has made a gd move by making antispyware program even if its powered by ewido..avast its better though coz it has better detection(contracting with the avg av) and better support(very cool and helpful forum).. ;)
