vulnerable port found in network search - 30005

I called my services and they said they just don't see this port being open, despite Avast's message. Is there something I'm missing? Is it risky it's potentially open? (According to Google results it can lead to trojans)

FWIW, some DSL routers use port 30005-30007 for remote management (TR-069).

Open ports are always a risk, unfortunately some vendors/ISPs don't care.

Hi Asyn, but would you say that with port 30005 being open, I'm exposed to those trojans listed online from that port? Or it's less likely? Also, what would be an alternative? My ISP customer service just wasn't professional enough to see it being open and did not understand what I wanted from them.

an alternative, to keep your network safem would be:

• Buy a router
• Call your ISP to put your modem at Bridge mode
• Conect your modem to WAN port of router and you configure this router so now it makes your Wifi (and other devices connected to LAN ports, connect to LAN ports of new router
