My Avast Password protection shield is disabled and I can't get it to turn back on.
I have tried to turn the shield on
at the status screen -- it will not turn back on.
at the privacy/password protection screen -- the function appears to turn on but the Avast warning stays on and the protection turns off as soon as I leave the screen.
I have run an update for Avast.
I have restarted my computer.
I have turned all of the shields off and then back on
I have used the uninstall and repair function.
Nothing is working.
