Disk Cleaning recover files (Mac)

Hi,

I feel embarrassed saying that I went too fast through the installment process and deleted important files in my download folder with the disk cleaning feature. I've tried Time Machine, but it seems I have not turned it on (MacBook 2021). Is there a possibility to recover those files? Thx in advance.

I have this same question. It seems no one ever responded. How do you recover files accidentally deleted with Avast Cleanup on a Mac?

I don't think you can recover accidentally deleted files its like deleting from trash
