I cannot display my monitor on my tv wirelessly unless I shut down Avast security functions. Which setting needs to be changed instead so I can connect to my tv?

Hi,

Which "Avast security functions" do you have to shut down for you to be able to cast to your TV wirelessly? Try only temporarily disabling the firewall and see if that makes a difference. If so, make sure that your networks are set to trusted and any app you use for this purpose is not blocked. https://support.avast.com/article/Use-Antivirus-Firewall/

Yes, when I turn off the firewall it will work. I don't use a 3rd party program to display my monitor on my tv. I just use the regular pc display settings. What should I do to do this without completely shutting off my firewall?

Thanks in advance.

Set the Avast Firewall to private/trusted mode/network and reboot.
