URL:Phishing

Hi,

I work at a technology company. Our company has a server that hosts 60 domains. The main website of this server uses wordpress version 5.9.3

Avast Internet Security is installed on my personal PC. When I visit our web site, Avast issues URL:Phishing warning and blocks the site. When I try to enter our website by installing Eset and other similar antivirus software, I do not see any virus warnings. Only avast giving this virus warning.

We are now trying to detect if there is a problem with our server. We've done countless tests. We deleted everything. We created an empty database from scratch. We installed WordPress. We deleted the plugins. We just used the wordpress default theme. But we still see the "URL:Phishing" warning. I tried this without any plugin but still Avast gives virus warning.

There is an interesting situation that when I go to more than 50 websites on the same server as Avast, I do not get any warnings.

I wonder if your antivirus software is showing me such an error message because of an update? If it was just a problem with the Wordpress version, I should have experienced the same situation on other Wordpress sites on the server. I also tried this with previous wordpress versions but the result was still the same.

This did not solve our problem. I reported it to Avast support. I am waiting for an answer from them.

1. You need to wait for the verdict from threat labs. You should get a reply within 48 hours.
2. Test the site at VT (https://www.virustotal.com) and post the link to the result here.
