These certainly aren't the default settings and could seriously slow your scan without any real benefit and you have also changed some of the Recommended settings. You are also saying to Shut down computer after scan finishes, don't know why you would want to do that.
Also, I rarely if ever do any on-demand scans (including the Smart Scan), outside of related posts in the forums.
With a resident (on-access) scanner the need for on-demand scans is much depreciated. For the most part dormant/inert files are being scanned, the other active files are going to be scanned by the resident shields when they are activated.
Most Archive files by their nature are inert, so don't present an immediate risk, should you try to open an archive file, then it would be scanned by the resident protection, the File Shield.
The default settings are designed to give protection, without the scan taking a long time.
