The trial demo license lasts 60 days, all you need do is register and a registration key will be emailed to you. This gives 14 months of VPS updates, when you need to reregister again. The registration doesn't take long, doesn't ask millions of questions, but give avast an idea of the active avast users so they have enough servers to support VPS and Program updates.

Complete the avast! 4 Home Registration form and you will receive an email from register @ avast.com (without the spaces) with your registration key.
