When opening my chrome got warning from AVAST about aborting connection to metamask.github.io! Image in attachment.

Metamask support sent to ask questions to Avast support! :D

Can anybody help, is it thing to worry about, or it is some glitch after update or something? Couldn't find any info in internet, only one similar case with no suggestions and no solution!

And what should I do, deep and boot scanning did not found anything! Afraid to use chrome and metamask on this device!

Thanks for any help and suggestions!

If you weren't actually trying to connect to the site, using chrome it is somewhat suspect.  Have you installed or updated any chrome browser add-ons recently ?

Good morning, I had the same problem and this is what avast support answered me a few minutes ago

Hello ,

Thank you for contacting Avast and reporting a false positive detection. I'm happy to help.

Avast virus specialists have checked your report and based on the findings the detection was removed. This change may take up to 24 hours to take full effect. Please accept our apology for the inconvenience caused.

If the detection persists after 24 hours, update the virus database in Avast Antivirus and reply to this email with the attached files:
