What is JS:Agent-EIZ?
« on: July 11, 2022, 04:08:35 PM »
Hi everyone,

When I attempt to access my employer's website, https://www.corevist.com/, I get a message from Avast that the site is infected with "JS:Agent-EIZ [Trj]."

When I attempt to test corevist.com with Sucuri's site checker https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/, I get the same message about that site.

I can access all other sites I've tried.

I'm starting to think it's something on my computer, not on one of those websites. Can anyone advise?

Thank you.

Please

This site sitecheck.sucuri.net is where we generally check out suspect sites reported in the avast forums.  So I checked it out and it would appear that the problem is when you enter the site to be checked that avast alerts.  I have reported this anomaly to Avast.

It doesn't alert on visiting the sitecheck.securi.net  but alerts when you try to check the suspect site.

Please break the active link to the suspect site as I have here corevist.com

Thanks Pondus,

Looks like Avast acted on my reporting the alert on Sucuri.com checking corevist site.
Or did you bypass the webshield ?
