Mozilla will protest against the EU-plan to urge browsers to accept Qualified Website Authentication Certificates (QWACs).
Is this a plan for the EU to 'gain root and act out a kind of MithM', while certificates will get less reliable?

Then it is time to launch an alternative, not continue with a system that is open to manipulation by governments, big commerce and cybercriminals?

A connection between a browser and a website could be less safe when these regulations sets in.
EU governments are for this plan, as they like to have more and more control and surveillance of EU end-users.
