boot time scan in endless loop
« on: August 20, 2022, 05:31:36 AM »
Running free version, windows 10 on an IBM laptop
When I attempt to run the boot time scan, after booting at the avast free antivirus page in the middle of the screen there is a circular spinning feature which looks like it is trying to load a file. I have let it run for over 10 minutes and it does  not change.
Prior to running it downloaded additional boot time scan files.
Only way out is a hard reboot by depressing the on switch for about 10 seconds.

How do I fix?
Thank you

Thank you it worked.

Is helpful to include this link as well since to do this you need to know how to access the geek menu.
