The new Firewall pop-up options are great. However, the Firewall UI is not good.

When we delete a Firewall App rule, the UI takes a long time to recover causing Avast to hang. When it hangs, the Avast interface and Settings hangs and protection is also disabled until the UI recovers.

Also, after PC restart, the Firewall pop-up takes a long time to start up for new app because Avast has not fully loaded due to the UI being slow.

Hello ccm582, we tried to induce the issue (actually second time) with no luck. Would you be so kind and send us the support package where we can look at diagnostic information and hopefully see some indication of what it could cause the issue? You can do it directly from the product Settings -> Troubleshooting - Send logs (or from the program folder, by executing SupportTool.exe). Thank you for your cooperation. Have a nice day, Petr

I am using this beta 22.9.6031. After installation, my Firewall Network Rules is as shown in Screenshot 1 attached. After a while, many Network Rules disappeared (see screenshot 2 attached). Repairing the app and restarting the PC didn't help. I uninstalled and reinstalled this beta and the Rules are as in Screenshot 1. After restoring my settings, it became like in Screenshot 2. Why is this? Is it related to the unstable UI?

This problem also occured in earlier versions of Avast Free.

How can I bring back the original Network Rules without the need to recreate all my Settings?

Where are Firewall Application Rules kept in the folder or Registry? I had to click to reset all Firewall Rules which reset the Network Rules but also deleted my Application rules. There has to be a way to restore Application Rules if Restoring from Settings mess up these rules.
