New Version???

Each time I log onto my computer for the last few days I have been getting a Green pop up box out of my Avast Ball... down on the tool bar I guess you call it.  Hmmm did that just make any sense... Anyway the pop says "A new version of Avast is available on the net. Click here to install it". Is that for real and should I do it.. I don't want to get fooled again and perhaps be downloading something I should not.  So I guess my question is there a new version and would I get a box like that to install it from?

If your version doesn't match the following,
then it's time to update.  :)

Ugh I seem to be having trouble... again! I attempted to download the new version and I thought it was a done deal but when i rebooted as it prompted me to.. and each and everytime i reboot now i get the same message:

Last encountered error: Cannot connect to download90.avast.com (70.86.205.194:80).

Total time: 43 s

Also today I did a SAS scan and all the cookies it found all seemed pretty normal to me but this one
C;\windows\temp\cookies\hp_owner@2o7(1).txt.
I quarantined them all encluding the one above... do you think Im havinga a problem again???
