Internet 5G access is snail pace. Disable Avast and my 5G speed is back?

I have spectrum 5G service. Yesterday I noticed my internet is very slow. If i disable Avast, my 5G is back. At one point I tried VPN and my speed was slow. So I stopped using it.

Need help, thanking you in advance, Larry...

Hi,

Do you notice the slowness during normal browsing or when performing a speed test?
Could you clarify how you go about disabling Avast? Are you referring to the Avast shields in Avast Premium Security?
