Avast Free Antivirus Passwords Edit Window not sized correctly
« on: September 08, 2022, 05:03:24 AM »
I'm running the latest version of Avast Free Antivirus on Windows 10. When I click on any one of the saved logins in the Passwords module it opens a smaller popup window, but since the last update the window is sized too small so that some contents in the right hand margin are cut off (the popup window cannot be resized). Here are a couple screenshots...

Hi,

This is a known issue.
Please try the following as a workaround:
Edit/look up the password data through the browser extension
1. Go to the site you want the password for
2. Click on the Passwords icon in the browser
3. Click "Details" next to the user account you want to edit

Please follow these steps if you need to install the browser extension.
1. Open Avast > Privacy > Passwords > Settings
2. Click Browser integration
3. Click "Install extension" next to your preferred browser

might be a good idea to edit out your email address in your above picture before you start getting spammed.

same issue with the password happened 18 months ago and it took a month for the devs to fix. hopefully its a similar issue so get fixed with a quicker update this time.
