Avast One Firewall blocking all tcp/ip traffic
« on: September 08, 2022, 04:01:04 PM »
I have two computers running Avast One, paid edition. Avast Firewall is blocking all tcp/ip traffic. If it is turned on I can't access the internet, print to a network printer or see other computers on my network. If it is turned off, everything works fine.

Both are currently using Aug 19 ver. 22.8.6030 - build 228.7500.734. The network they are on is trusted.

I have another computer using the same ver/build that is not experiencing this problem. The only difference is that the two computers with the problem thought they were on a new network that I had to change to trusted. Even with the change to trusted firewall is still blocking everything.

All computers are on the same wired ethernet network, running Windows 10 Pro 21H2 with the latest updates.

Please help.

Hi,

Can you open the firewall, go to "Advance network security", and compare the settings?
If they are the same, please try to reset Avast One(Account>Settings>Troubleshooting>"Reset all settings")
