Avast Secure Browser
« on: September 21, 2022, 09:36:17 PM »
I'm running Avast Secure Browser and I have a problem that began around one week ago.

I use UploadGIG to download files. I now find that I keep getting thrown back to the registration page, when I attempt to log in to UploadGIG. I sent several terse emails to UploadGIG, demanding that they fix the problem. Nothing worked. In desperation, I tried Firefox. It worked perfectly. I now realise that the problem lies with Avast Secure Browser.

How can I fix the problem?

I am also running Avast VPN and Avast Premium Security.

TIA

Thanks a bunch.

I checked one of my usual sites and I find that I have to log in after I click on a link.

Maybe Avast has a cookie crusher that I did not enable, but it has enabled it by default?
