I notice a very big difference in speed while surfing on the web since I installed avast on my computer using Vista. When I disable Web Shield the speed comes back to normal. I have tried the suggestions I have found on this forum and nothing help. I use the lastest version of avast. So I terminated the Web Shield scanner so I can surf the net without waiting all the time for pages lo load. Anyone has encountered this problem and found a working solution?
