File: \windows\system32\drivers\aswVmm.sys corrupt

Hello everyone,

a couple of hours ago I had to restart my pc, and now it doesnt boot anymore.
Instead it always wants to make an automatic repair which is failing.

A log gave me the error that the aswVmm.sys file is corrupt and now I d like to ask for some help here.
I attached a FRST.txt file maybe that can help.

Hi,

Please try the following.
1. Boot into Safe Mode with Networking (https://support.avast.com/article/236/)
2. Download the Avast uninstall utility (https://support.avast.com/article/uninstall-antivirus-utility/)
3. Run the Avast uninstall utility
4. Try to boot into the normal mode

thanks for your reply.
I tried to boot into safe mode but unfortunately the system is just starting the automatic repair again and thus doesn't start the system but instead boots into the repair menu.

So when you are on the  Automatic Repair screen, you click on "Advance options" and continue with step 2 from this guide (https://support.avast.com/article/236/) to boot into safe mode, but it does not? Can you get back to "Advance options" and try "System Restore", or does this also put you in that loop?
