Avast Business Hub 8.55
« on: October 19, 2022, 02:29:30 PM »
We're happy to announce that Avast Business Hub 8.55 has been released! (October 19, 2022)

----------------------

Release Summary
This release brings USB Protection service support for macOS devices, adds new events to the Audit log, and improvements for partners.

New Feature(s) & Enhancements
  • USB Protection is now also available for macOS devices.
  • The “USB Protection report” and the “Reinstall a service” feature are out of beta.
  • Added new events to the Audit log, namely “Policy edits” and “Policy locks”.
  • If a partner manages a company, this fact is clearly visible below the Business Hub logo including the name of the partner.
  • For multi-company partner consoles: introducing the ability to create new customers directly from Hub. Since this release, partners don’t need to create the customer record twice - in OMS and then create a Hub company account. Once you create a customer in the Hub, the record is automatically present in OMS. For customers already existing in OMS, you can easily link existing OMS records with the Hub while creating a Hub account for the customer.
  • For multi-company partner consoles: customer records are now automatically synced with OMS. We added extra fields to the customer profile to match information in OMS. Also, you can easily link existing customer records with OMS records to keep information synchronized across those two systems. Changing customer information in the Hub will result in changing the respective information in OMS, and the reverse from OMS to the Hub.

Resolved issues
  • Fixed an issue with missing Spanish translation for the “Alert action” within the Audit log.

Known issues
  • A small group of users is not able to delete old policies from the console.
  • Internet Connection Sharing mode does not activate locally when set in a policy.
  • User is unable to locally control the network profile despite setting is set to not follow policy.
  • Some customers have an issue with turning the Ransomware Shield OFF on macOS devices.
  • Very small group of customers having an issue installing Antivirus on macOS devices.
