New Mac giving me grief

Hello,
Just got an M1 Mac and migrated all of my info to it. Now Avast free version constantly pops up to alert me that it's quarantining a file. However, it's always the same file and it's a file from 2019 that never got flagged on the old computer. I deleted the file from the Mac and also all the quarantined ones but it still keeps quarantining this same file. Any advice? I was thinking of upgrading to premium but don't want to do so until I can get rid of this issue.

Hello,
The fact that it is popping periodically means that either the file can not be deleted (and is periodically being accessed by some app) or it is being recreated in the meantime.
If you are sure it is not infected, please add it to the exclusion list for File Shield.
