REFUNDS

Why is it so difficult to submit a cancellation and refund request with Avast? All links and avenues end up at a dead end. Is it designed to put people off or forgetting to pursue it. How can I speak to someone on the phone? I can see no options for this anywhere.

You can easily cancel your subscription or request a refund via your Avast Account. https://support.avast.com/en-gb/article/create-account/
Please note that the email used for the Avast account has to be the same email used when you placed the order. Otherwise, you will not see your Avast subscription.

If you visited this page (https://support.avast.com/en-gb/contact/sales) and selected the option to unsubscribe (step2), you should have seen the telephone number as displayed in the attached screenshot. You can call the same number to request a refund.
