Centralized download of updates
« on: December 22, 2007, 02:37:17 AM »
If I want to have 50 PCs on a company all of them protected by avast is there any way to download the updates centrally and from them apply them to the local computers or each computer should have an internet connection so they can download their updates? By the way what “avast” means? Also could anybody tell me where I couple of example of well known companies using avast as their corporate solution?

I think that this is what you need to look at avast! Distributed Network Manager, http://www.avast.com/eng/adnm.html, I believe this uses a local mirror for updating signatures, etc.
