Hi,
just as I wrote in the topic's object.
Windows 10 Pro version is 21H2 (build SO 19044.2251)
Avast Free version is 22.12.6044 - build 22.12.7758.764 (released on Nov 29th 2022).

Previous version of Avast was OK, no delay at all: I restored a previous Windows backup (with older Avast version) and shutdown/restart was fast (few seconds).

Does anyone have the same issue?

Thanks for your time,
have a nice day.

Dec 12, 2022 UPDATE:
I updated Avast Free Antivirus on my notebook:
Windows 10 Home version is 21H2 (build SO 19044.2251)
Avast Free version is 22.12.6044 - build 22.12.7758.764 (released on Nov 29th 2022).
Same versions both of Windows (except for Windows HOME instead of PRO) and of Avast Free: first reboot, no delay at all. I'll try again and I'll update this post just in case... Anyway on my notebook Avast Free crashes when I try to open UI for the first time.

Dec 12, 2022 15:47 UPDATE:
Ok, I found out what was wrong with that: I used to start a .bat script on system shutdown (using gpedit.msc) that closed CryptSvc (to avoid event IDs 13 and 8193 related to VSS)... I don't know why, since the last update of Avast, I'm not able to stop CryptSvc anymore because it has two dependancies, i.e. Avast Tools and Avast Antivirus... So, the script stopped at the prompt ("wanna close it anyway? [Y/N]) and the shutdown was delayed for 10 minutes!
I managed either to eradicate IDs 13 and 8193 by just starting VSS service before shutdown in Task Manager (Net start VSS).

It was my fault, not of Avast Antivirus (although with previous versions of Avast everything worked normally).

Thanks for your time, have a nice day.
