Avast and Nord Threat Protection
« on: December 15, 2022, 10:29:41 PM »
Nord VPN offers Threat Protection - aka Anti Virus, malware, ad block etc. But it warns that they may not like each other. I have searched the internet and there are no answers so far. Has anyone run these together?

yes and no.
i turned it on on the day of release and my connection dropped from 60mbps down to 5-10mbps.
as it was so new support couldnt help much but suggested to chose one or the other.
tbh i think i did try it again a good few months later and didnt notice a speed drop but thats not saying they could still be conflicting in the background.
on laptop i use avast and firewall and have nord protect turned off. i do use it on mobile though as i dont have avast on there.

That's similar to running 2 AV's at the same time. (Not recommended.)
