Hi,
I have Avast Premium Security,
I have, more than once, experienced a total failure to continue running after a system start red cross "You are unprotected, try to restart"
I restart, nothing, run the fix option, reboot, nothing, same problem!
Uninstalled with Windows uninstaller, loss of the ability to connect to anything, reinstall the system then use the Avast clear program, same result, total loss of connection, network reset, nope, nothing total loss of connectivity in Windows 11 Pro V. 22H2 (plus earlier versions).
reinstalled the system and was going to complain again then I remembered that being unable to reinstall using the offline setup program because the BFE engine wouldn't start made me wonder!
I then ran the registration database fixes for the BFE permissions and I now have a running and operational version of the Premium Security program!
Just publishing this online so anyone else with the same problems might have the answer.
Major Avast Premium Security issue for me!
