Turn off Window 10 notification?

Is there a way to turn off this notification from showing up every time I start up the browser?

"To get future Avast Secure Browser update, you'll need Windows 10 or later.  This computer is using Windows 8.1."

This is a Google Chromium related issue in the not to distant future old oses won't be able to support new security changes in Chromium based browsers.  The Avast Secure Browser is Chromium based.

Now that doesn't do much about the notifications, when you get this notification (never having used win8) is there not an option not to receive these notifications.  I know there is in win10, but that may not be possibly if they are generated by ASB.

Unfortunately I don't use the Avast Secure Browser, so it may be worth checking the link to the topic I gave.

This notification keeps showing up on startup.  Along with a "Learn more" click option that just links to the Avast faq.

I looked through the Settings options and didn't see an option  I would like to know if there a way to turn off the notification via a hidden advance option.

As I don't use the Avast Secure Browser, nor win8.1, so I can't be any practical help in that regard.

Have you viewed the other topic I gave and perhaps ask there as it has Avast Team input there.

The easiest way to get rid of the notification is to update to windows 10.
It is still a free option.
