Hello everyone,

I recently became aware that web browsers have access to all the files on my Mac. This means that I can open any document from any location within the browser and also upload them to any website. Given that there is a known security vulnerability in Safari that allows attackers to specifically access documents and folders on my computer, I am wondering if there is a way to block web browsers like Safari, Chrome, Firefox, etc. from accessing my documents folder specifically.

I would appreciate any suggestions or solutions, regardless of whether they are specific to Avast or not. In the event that there is no solution, I would like to see Avast extend its ransomware protection to include web browsers by marking them as untrusted and blocking them from accessing my protected folders. Alternatively, it would be great to have some sort of secure "vault" within Avast to protect important documents from web browsers.

Thank you in advance for your help.
