is there any bug report for Avast?
As described here
https://qelectrotech.org/bugtracker/view.php?id=282 , when Avast is installed, QET freezes and crashes if attempting open any explorer window. After Avast uninstall (shields off did not help) QET works as intended.
I'm able to help with further investigation.
