I got the item "Avast firewall NDIS6 helper" among the properties of my local area connection. I am using Free Avast and I didn't buy the firewall option. My system is Windows 7.
Would it be possible to have some information about "Avast firewall NDIS6 helper" ? What is its purpose ?
And what is the impact if I uncheck the item in the properties ?
