Win 32:Trojan-gen. {Other}

Hi.. i got a virus Win32:Trojan-gen. {Other}.

File name: C:\WINDOWS\System32\Spoole32.exe.. i Can't delete it. Repair says: Cannot process "C:\WINDOWS\System32\Spoole32.exe" file. What can i do??? :-\

Disable System Restore
http://vil.nai.com/vil/SystemHelpDocs/DisableSysRestore.htm
restart the machine and remove it manually.

Thank You for the reply.. i go try and get back with u =) Thanx again! But i am not sure if i delete Spoole32.exe file will affect my computer?

Try to run AVAST! after reboot: probably the file will be automatically repaired.

Hi Gina,

you could/should also scan the file with other (Online-) scanners,e.g. Trend & KAV (see below; deactivate avast resident shield first), to get a more specific name/description for it, and rule out a false alarm

are you sure it's "Spoole32.exe" and not "Spool32.exe" ?
