After exhausting my support options through reading and trying to implement the changes I received to my questions on this board, I emailed avast tech support. They asked me to email them the three files located with the alwil software file, which sure be no problem since I know they are located at c:\programfiles\awilsoftware\avast4. However, when I attempted to attach them to my yahoo email, I receive a message that it is an invalid file. The tech said I could send the whole folder and I tried that too but got the same invalid file message.
I did a search for the file and it is there. When I brush my mouse over the avast icon, the file location name appears. I thought I was really getting somewhere until they new problem.
Any ideas?
