Appears to be related to VPN. If I turn VPN on, then turn off again and reopen a brower, Open DNS works. However, over time it will quit filtering and allow undesirable sites through that are normally filtered out. VPN shows off during this time, but behaves as though it is on. Turning it on and off again restores filtering, but only temporarily. This is true on both computers I just loaded Avast One on, one windows7, one windows10. Avast Premium did not have this issue. This leaves our computers unprotected from trashy sites our kids may find, intentional or not.
