Ventura Upgrade Now VPN Missing
« on: March 20, 2023, 10:54:57 PM »
I upgraded to Ventura 13.2.1 a few days ago.  I just realized my VPN icon is missing.  I went to reinstall it but couldn't figure out how to do so without being charged for it again. Any ideas?

I don't use a MAC so can't give any input to your problem - but I have tried to draw some Avast attention to your topic.

Hello Theresa,
thank you for letting us know. I have updated my testing macOS from Ventura 13.1 to 13.3 and the application seems to be running fine.

I can imagine several reasons for not launching the menubar application, but tracing the cause over the forum is hard. If you copy an activation code from the subscription page, you could try to reinstall the product, the installer can be found at https://www.avast.com/secureline-vpn#mac, or here: https://bits.avcdn.net/productfamily_VPN/insttype_PRO/platform_MAC/installertype_ONLINE/build_RELEASE/cookie_mmm_mvp_999_888_a7c_m:dlid_SLM-TRIAL-ONLINE-PP

If it wouldn't help, I would recommend contacting Avast support.

Best Regards,
Martin
