A unknown error was found with the scan
« on: October 24, 2023, 09:22:20 PM »
I was having some issues with a scan and I decided to record logs for it and those errors were not very descriptive of what it is but when it try to scan certain files That errors will pop up in the middle of the stand preventing it from being scanned I'm not sure if it's some form of encrypted malware or not like it would suspect it might be Hidden in the legitimate game files. And also got the screenshot of the setings for that scan put into the topic.
this is the entitle log file.

Also, I did know these games are made by legitimate corporations and that has not happened before.

It has been asked and explained a million times in this forum.
It is geek stuff so nothing you need to worry about, Error 42110 is a highly compressed file so the scan engine will not unpack an scan it

The only thing that is important for you is this - Infected files: 0

It is also recomended to use default scan settings, avast team has worked with malware since 1988 so they know what works best
