False Positives
« on: March 30, 2023, 09:43:29 PM »
Avast is catching false positives in components of JupyterLab (https://github.com/jupyterlab/jupyterlab). I have been using the software for a long time and never had a problem with it. It is detecting Generic.IDP. I also can't seem to make an exception for the application.

Posting a screenshot of the Avast Alert window, with the Details option selected, may give more information on exactly what is being alerted on.

Also where are you trying to add an exception  ?
That may give an idea of why or where you are trying to set the exception and why you can't set it or why it isn't working.
