VBS.Nokrupt?
« on: January 01, 2008, 04:07:12 PM »
i tried to scan a file named TTMS1298.vbs and avast didn't detect it as a virus but it was detected by kaspersky and nod32. it tried to do my own research and in symantec's "virus list" they described the file to be a VBS.Nokrupt virus. my ie7 shows a "TTMS NAA NKO DIRI - DON'T WORRY I'M NOT A CORRUPT LIKE YOU!" message in the title bar. why didn't avast detect it?

Because not a software is perfect. Help improving avast detection...
Can you send the samples to virus@avast.com ?
You can zip and password the files... Inform a link to this thread and the password used.
You can send the files to Chest and, from there, resend to Alwil for analysis.
Thanks.
