I had to uninstall avast pro, (old win 10 pc setup), then I paid for a copy of avast premium security.
I reboot pc, then install new software, it ask to reboot pc.
On reboot, no avast tray, or install icon anyware, you run the install again.
It then says pc need a restart (avast to take affect).
Reboot, same thing, no avast comes up, running install for a 3rd time, does the same.
Endless loop...
I tried uninstall program in safe mode.
Did nothing, it still says (on installing avast), reboot required, loop again.
Iv dones this 4x times now.
Even trying to delete the avast folder (it get deleted) manually, but still on a clean install, the (you must reboot).
Comes up again.
(Pc up to date win 10)...
I can install avg free with no problems, but I want (paid for premium avast version).
The uninstall is not fixing my problem....
Any ideas, (all files inc install (off-line too), and the uninstall, are latest version, as of 15_5_2023 dloaded.
